Penry BUILDS 2-1 FUNDRAISING EDGE
-Will Announce Campaign Committee Chairs at Press
Conference this Weekend-
MESA COUNTY—The two candidates running to replace term
limited State Senator Ron Teck announced quarterly fund
raising figures last week. House District 54 Representative
Josh Penry outraised his opponent by a 2-1 margin, raising
over $20,000 in the last 3 months of 2005 on top of the
approximately $17,000 he raised the quarter before.
“Our campaign has got a full head of steam and we're not
slowing down," Penry said. "My primary focus will be
representing the people of Western Colorado, but I've got
the best team of supporters a fella could wish for who are
going to make sure that our campaign advantage continues to
grow."
This weekend, Representative Penry will announce his
campaign Co-chairs, and formally kick off his Senate
campaign. Media are encouraged to attend.
