TIM FOSTER ENDORSES JOSH PENRY FOR STATE SENATE

-Penry also nabs endorsement from statewide association of
doctors-

Grand Junction -- State Representative Josh Penry announced
today that Tim Foster, former Majority Leader of the
Colorado House of Representatives and long time leader in
Western Slope politics, has endorsed his candidacy for
Colorado Senate.

Foster represented House District 54 in the Colorado
General Assembly immediately prior to Matt Smith. Penry
succeeded Smith in representing District 54.

The Penry campaign will air a radio spot featuring Foster's
endorsement between now and Election Day next Tuesday.

In the radio advertisement, Foster says, "Josh Penry is a
leader. He's principled. He's effective. Josh Penry will
prove to be one of the finest Senators to serve us all on
the Western Slope."

Said Penry, "Tim is one of the most respected and
accomplished leaders in Western Colorado. His endorsement
only adds to the already significant momentum we're feeling
as this campaign reaches decision day."

Foster is the latest in a long line of current and former
elected officials from the Western Slope to endorse Josh
Penry. Among the others supporting Penry are Lt. Governor
Jane Norton, Janet Rowland, Craig Meis, Pete Hautzinger and
Garfield County Commissioner John Martin.

Today, Penry also received the endorsement of the Colorado
Medical Association, the state's association of doctors.
Both Penry and his opponent, Matt Smith, conducted
extensive interviews with local doctors and the Medical
Society's leadership last month.

Concluded Penry, "Western Colorado deserves a Senator who
will lead on every issue, including striving to get a
handle on the growing costs of healthcare. Making
healthcare more affordable and accessible is a priority of
mine, and I'm honored to have the support of Colorado's
doctors."
